Dark cloudy rainy days can be a downer. Some would say it is depressing. My favorite definition of depression is "rage turned inward". I always equate rage to rocket fuel. You can use the anger to get up and move or get into that project that you have been putting off. Once you get going you might surprise yourself by how much you accomplish. The key is to give yourself a jumpstart by strategically funneling that anger
Bottom line: it is one effective solution to procrastination.

Think of it. You go to a conference or a seminar. You are there primarily to learn and to meet old colleagues and to make new ones. However, think about it. You are in a hotel or classroom with like minded people. You have meals with old friends and have no problem about having a stranger aka a fellow attendee join your table. It just adds to the sharing of knowledge be it about the subject mater of the conference or where to get more towelsor coffee. It can be a great place to meet someone new.

These days a lot of people are wondering who is there for them. This is the time to reach out to your friends and family. It is also the time to reminisce. Maybe you've lost touch with old friends, family members or co-workers. Now is the time to rekindle those old contacts. You might be pleasantly surprised by their response.
