Counseling

Counseling is defined as help with personal problems given by a professional.

Here are a few of the issues that I hear when I first meet someone in my office.

“I don’t know what to do about….

…my relationship”

…my lack of relationships”

…my kids”

…my family”

…my job”

…money”

…my health”

Counseling is a learning process about you.  My purpose is to act as a mirror that speaks and gives you the ability to see all around you so that you can thoughtfully and sensibly determine what your heart and mind want or don’t want.

My role as a counselor is to give you a safe place to voice what is distressing you and to reflect back your thoughts, feelings and ideas..

The goal is to achieve clarity and to provide support.  The desired outcome is to become comfortable with making your own decisions at your own pace about your personal or professional life.

To have the courage and determination to implement change if need be and to come to acceptable terms about yourself, your life and the people in your life.

A counselor can be a facilitator of change and a facilitator of acceptance.  You get to choose if you want one or both.

Professional seminars and courses:
